Responses to additional questions are subject for determination for further additional releases contingent upon a revised draft RFP reflecting current program needs and/or updates to requirements.

The Professional and Technical Services (ProTech) program is well underway. The ProTech program consists of a suite of Multiple-award Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite Quantity services contracts, each supporting the major NOAA mission areas (Satellites, Fisheries, Oceans, Enterprise Operations and Weather). The Satellite Domain was awarded June 13th, 2017 and other Domain awards will follow. Jay Standring, the ProTech Branch Chief reviewed the program status and future events/schedule at the Brown Bag Seminar.

Interested parties are encouraged to register for FBO's Watch Opportunity feature for status updates.

10 AUGUST 2017: PROTECH ENTERPRISE OPERATIONS FINAL RFP RELEASE ANTICIPATED 1ST QTR FY18

The Government anticipates the release of a Final Request for Proposal (RFP) within the 1st Quarter of Fiscal Year (FY) 2018. This delay provides for additional time to address the large volume of questions received in response to the review of the draft RFP and revisit current strategy. Industry is encouraged to register to receive updates on ProTech Enterprise Operations Domain using the Federal Business Opportunity (FBO) Watch Opportunity listing for immediate notification.

30 June 2017: ProTech Enterprise Operations Draft RFP Released

The Draft Solicitation/Request for Proposal (RFP) ST-1330-17-RP-0007 for ProTech services in support of the Enterprise Operations Domain (ProTech Enterprise Operations) was released on June 30, 2017. This draft RFP is anticipated to be similar to the final RFP that is expected to be posted on or about August 1, 2017.

The Government is requesting all interested vendors to submit questions regarding the draft RFP using Attachment J-4, Draft RFP Question and Comment Template, by electronic mail ONLY to protech.enterprise@noaa.gov, with the number ST-1330-17-RP-0007 in the subject line. Questions shall be submitted by 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time on July 14, 2017. Responses to the questions and comments will be posted on FedBizOpps. A due date for additional questions may be provided in the final version.

NOAA is pleased to announce the award of the ProTech-Satellite Domain multiple-award indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract. Please see the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) posting below for details of the awardees. This vehicle will be the source for professional, technical, scientific, and engineering services for the Satellite Domain and is available for all of NOAA and DOC bureaus for requirements within scope. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Acquisition and Grants Office (AGO), is hosting an Industry Day/Pre-Solicitation Conference in support of the Professional and Technical (ProTech) Services Branch Oceans Domain on April 13, 2017.

Sign-in for pre-registered attendees will begin in the Auditorium hallway beginning at 8:00 am. Networking opportunities with AGO and NOS will be available in the Science Center from 8:00 am - 9:00 am.

However if seating is available, you may be able to appear as a "walk-in" upon indication of auditorium's capacity at approximately 8:55 a.m. EST on April 13, 2017. Government and military CAC holders are not required to have an escort, but are still encouraged to register prior to Industry Day

All auditorium attendees and participants will need to present valid government-issued ID. To determine which identification is deemed valid, please visit: Identification Validity Document

Visitors are encouraged to arrive at least 30-45 minutes prior to event time for the security and registration process. Sign-in for participants who have pre-registered will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday April 13, 2017 in the Auditorium hallway. It is strongly encouraged for participants to arrive early to process through the security checkpoint.
